Future Quest Healthcare is a collaboration between UWE Bristol, University of Bristol, University of Bath, Healthier Together and NHS England. This partnership supports students to explore their options in healthcare, plan their pathway and realise their future potential through activities, information, and support.
Future Quest, in partnership with UWE Bristol, the University of Bristol, the University of Bath and Healthier Together, are leading an outreach programme for young people in Years 10 – 13 to explore and access pathways into medicine, pharmacy, and the allied health professions. This programme is funded by NHS England.
Students on this programme take part in progressive activities designed to unlock strengths and values that align to NHS careers, introduce them to role models on healthcare pathways and provide immersive experiences in the professions to help them visualize possible futures.
Working together, Future Quest and NHS England South West have designed a programme to support young people to access careers in nursing. Students will gain a greater understanding of a range of nursing careers, including specialisation in mental health and learning disabilities. This programme is currently active in City of Bristol College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and is funded by NHS England South West.
