Adult nurses form the largest part of the NHS’s workforce. They are qualified medical experts that deliver clinical treatment and care to adults of all ages. Adult Nurses work and manage staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The patients that they care for may suffer from one or more long or short-term physical health conditions, such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, or injuries from an accident. For this reason, adult nurses work in a wide range of settings and must be adaptable and able to build trusting relationships with every kind of adult patient.
