Health Education England (HEE) has now merged with NHS England. It still works with partners to plan, recruit, educate and train the health workforce. NHS England is working with Future Quest to build a programme that allows young people to access careers in Medicine, Pharmacy, the Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery.
Access to Medicine and the Professions
Future Quest and NHS England have worked together to design a programme to support young people in accessing careers in Medicine, Pharmacy, the Allied Health Professions. This programme is currently active in schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire and is funded by NHS England.
Mental Health and Learning Disability Nursing
Working together, Future Quest and NHS England South West have designed a programme to support young people to access careers in nursing. This programme is currently active in City of Bristol College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and is funded by NHS England South West.
Midwifery
Led by UWE Bristol, with funding from NHS England, the midwifery programme works to support young people on their journey into a career in midwifery.
