Therapeutic radiographers play a vital role in the treatment of cancer. They are the only health professionals qualified to plan and deliver radiotherapy. Radiotherapy is used either on its own or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy.

THERAPEUTIC OR DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHY?

As you will have learnt so far there are plenty of differences between diagnostic and therapeutic radiography, as well as many similarities!

Can you correctly identify whether the following statements apply to therapeutic radiography, diagnostic radiography or both?
